Random thoughts of Glenna
I have a goal of digitizing all family records that we have in our possession to put on dvd and share with family members who would like a copy for their personal use or to use with their family history software. It is taking some time to get it all done, therefore, I felt that if I created this blog I could share what I have and invite each of you to share what you have and that by "pooling" our information here it would be better logisticly, financially and time wise. By putting it in blog format we can also at various times send to have it printed in bound book format. By doing so we can keep the legacy of Russell and Caroline alive and share in the great heritage that is ours.
I have so many wonderful memories of Russell and Caroline. They readily and happily accepted me in the Stuart family. They were hard workers and had a good work ethic. They endured many hardships, yet enjoyed life. I remember going over visit "ma" on one of our trips as newlyweds and she taught me how to make her delicious pies. It was a special time spent with her which I will always cherish. There are so many other memories I cherish which will be shared at a later date.
I invite each of you to share your thoughts, memories, stories, histories and photos, not only of ma and pa but also of aunts, uncles, cousins. Let all contibute to help the purpose of this blog be successful.
